In summer, 2000, the Illinois EPA and the Illinois Department of Natural Resources conducted an intensive stream quality investigation at 29 sites in the Saline River/Bay Creek Basin in southern Illinois. This report presents a summary of data on land use, water quality, fish community, macroinvertebrate community, sediment chemistry, and instream habitat collected from this investigation.
